Editing
With every session…
~I first go through the images taken and narrow them down. That way your gallery isn’t repetitive or have photos where someone may be blinking, etc.
~The photos are then taken into editing software and given a base edit.
A base edit is where I go through every image and make sure they all look similar to each other. Lighting situations can change throughout a session; which can change the color and brightness of a photo. I basically make each image look just how the conditions were when I took it but make sure everything looks good.
~Some sessions come with a skin edit or more of a detailed editing.
A skin edit is when I take each individual photo into Photoshop. I will remove redness, whiten teeth and remove blemishes. I also go through and give the image an overall skin smoothing and finished look. There is a sample below.
~You will receive a black and white copy of the skin edited photo. Some photos will receive an additional copy with another type of effect done to them.
~Sessions that do not have skin edited photos will still receive a few black and white photos.
